So yeah.. that's totally a win - win there. I have also posted swatch photos under the EOTD as a super-mega-cool bonus! Yay!
So I decided to do a look today using both the shadows she sent me. I'm unaware when these shadows are going to be released. But I'll tell you I love them both. I think I'm leaning a little more towards Dragons being my favorite, but Cotton Candy is not that far off either. :D
I used:
Too Face Shadow Insurance
Nyx Jumbo Pencil - Milk
Dark Heart Designs- Cotton Candy - all over lid
Dark Heart Designs- Nymph - tear duct area & lower lash line
Dark Heart Designs- Dragons - crease & outer V
BFTE- Butt Naked- highlight
Different angle better color view |
Dry, Bare skin, No Flash |
Ok so I'm not generally so zealous when it comes to swatches but I wanted you guys to see these colors since they are currently unreleased. Its time to get PUMPED for them! Are you drooling yet? *grin*
**Hope everyone is doing well. Especially with all the death and destruction going on in the middle/south of the country. Scary stuff those tornadoes. My heart is definitely with those affected. And for us guys who aren't .. we all need to take a moment out of our crazy busy days and remember whats really important in life! *hugs all around*
Love this look and the eye shadow colors :D So pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love Dragons! I just recently discovered DHD, and bought up some samples, but I haven't swatched them yet(shame on me!). I'm very excited to, though.
ReplyDeleteLately I've found myself going for big color contrasts in my shadows. Hot orange and baby blue. Sunshine yellow and primary red. Stuff like that. I don't know why, it must be to make up for all this yucky weather we're having here! Rain and fog all week. v_v
Omg so pretty great job, im your new follower and would love if u can check out my page and follow http://britters89.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteThanks for the post! I love what you've done with the color combination. I'd never have thought those two would look so good together. I also love the way you've lined them up, and swatched them. Do you mind if I use the inspiration for shop photos?
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo, unreleased colours! I love what you've done with the colours and the swatch photos are very pretty too! Also, your eyelashes are so long and awesome! JEALOUS!
